About ME
About ME
Thanks for visiting my website! I am an award winning multimedia journalist and feature storyteller.
I began my career at WRDW News 12 in Augusta, Ga. in May 2021. There, I found my passion for telling compelling feature stories about interesting people and places in the community. Once a week, I travel outside the coverage area to spotlight interesting places you can visit on a tank of gas for a sponsored segment I created called “One Tank Trips.” In 2023, I was voted “Best TV Reporter” by readers of Augusta Magazine for their annual “Best of Augusta” awards.
Before my time at WRDW News 12, I attended the University of South Carolina, where I earned my degree in Broadcast Journalism. During my time as a student, I produced more than 100 PKGs as an independent journalist. I also operated the camera for Gamecock Live Productions broadcasts on SEC Network and WOLO’s high school football coverage. As a student, I earned the “Outstanding Broadcast Journalism Senior Award for Reporting” from the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
When I’m not telling stories, you may find me cheering for the Gamecocks, exploring Augusta’s vibrant community, and enjoying sporting events.
